Anything you want to know about China travel, such as visa, guide, destination, transportation, accommodation, local foods ect.

1. Health Declaration

  1. Electronic health declaration must be completed:
  2. All inbound passengers are required to fill out the "People's Republic of China Entry/Exit Health Declaration Card" via the WeChat Mini Program “Customs Passenger Self-Service” or the web version before arrival.
  3. Declaration content: Personal information, travel history in the past 14 days, health status, flight information, etc.
  4. QR Code Generation: After submission, a valid "black code" will be generated within 24 hours. Take a screenshot and keep it for scanning upon entry.

  5. No requirement for nucleic acid test certificate:

  6. Starting from August 30, 2023, the requirement for a pre-entry nucleic acid test has been lifted, so no negative report or antigen test result is needed.

2. Vaccination Certificate

  1. No mandatory vaccination requirement:
  2. Currently, China does not require inbound travelers to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
  3. However, it is recommended to get vaccinated (with WHO-approved or China-approved vaccines) to reduce travel risks.

  4. Special cases may apply:

  5. If symptoms such as fever or cough occur after entry, you must declare them proactively and undergo testing, which may affect your travel itinerary.

3. Other Precautions

  1. Mask-wearing recommendation:
  2. Masks are recommended in public places such as airports and high-speed railway stations, but they are not mandatory.

  3. Health monitoring after entry:

  4. No quarantine is required, but self-monitoring of health conditions after entry is recommended. Seek medical attention promptly if any discomfort occurs.
